Hi, I’m Alaina, founder of The Lemonade Stand Co. (TLS), a not-for-profit youth entrepreneurship program where kids learn by doing.
As a mom of two, I wanted my own kids to have more opportunities to step away from screens, use their creativity, and learn through hands-on activities. That idea grew into TLS — a place where kids can turn their interests, talents, and big ideas into something they’re proud to call their own.
Inspired by the classic lemonade stand, TLS guides young entrepreneurs from big idea to online store. Kids learn entrepreneurial skills, build a brand, create products, set up their own storefront, earn badges, and sell their creations to real customers.
Along the way, they build confidence, creativity, independence, resilience, and real-world skills — while discovering what they’re capable of.
And the impact goes beyond the young entrepreneur. Through purposeful shopping and community giving, TLS helps support programs and opportunities for children and youth, creating a cycle where young people learn, earn, and give back.
When kids grow, communities grow too.
